~ My Story
From a young age, I was the “entertainer,” often seeking validation and trying to bring joy to others. My childhood wasn’t defined by obvious trauma, but like many people, the conditions I grew up in shaped how safe and connected I felt in the world. As an only child raised by a single mother navigating her own challenges, I learned to rely on myself and attune to others to stay connected. That pattern of care-taking and codependence quietly followed me into my adult life and career.
I spent over a decade as a professional performer, touring and working in theaters across the country. While the stage offered creativity, connection, and moments of affirmation, the cycle of highs and lows eventually became unsustainable. Burnout and emotional exhaustion revealed that the way I had learned to seek love and belonging was no longer supporting my well-being.
My healing journey led me through many paths — yoga, meditation, workshops, and plant medicine — but what truly transformed me was learning how to slow down and listen to my body. During a particularly challenging period, including caring for my mom, I stopped trying to move past my pain and instead learned how to be with what was present: grief, anger, fear, tenderness. Through somatic work, I learned how to regulate my nervous system, build inner safety, and offer myself the care I had long been seeking outside myself.I am a certified somatic coach through Somastery Somatic Therapy, where I received in-depth training in nervous system regulation, trauma-informed, body-based approaches, and embodied healing. This work didn’t just give me tools — it reshaped how I relate to myself and others, from the inside out.Today, I support people in reconnecting with their bodies, their voices, and their truth. My work is relational, grounded, and paced with care. I don’t believe healing is about fixing what’s broken, but about learning how to be in compassionate relationship with our full human experience.
~ What I believe...
I believe that beneath our conditioning, fear, and survival patterns, the deepest truth of who we are is love ~
intelligent, alive, and woven into us from the beginning.
I believe that at the core of our being lives a wise inner presence ~ call it soul, heart, or inner knowing ~
that carries the truth of who we really are and knows how to lead us home.
I believe that what we experience as fear, anxiety, or distortion is not something wrong with us,
but parts of us shaped by pain, survival, and unmet needs ~ still longing for the love they did not receive.
I believe that when these parts go unseen or unintegrated, they can quietly shape our lives from the background, influencing how we relate, choose, and respond without our conscious awareness.
I believe healing happens as we bring loving awareness to these patterns and gently return leadership
to the deeper soul voice within us ~ the place that can hold all of our parts with compassion and clarity.
I believe that from this place, we live with more choice and intention, grounded in our bodies
and attuned to the quiet magic of being alive.
I believe that healing is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering who we have always been.
